About · Veloċi by Adam's Media — United States

Veloċi is Maltese for fast.

Pronounced veh-LOH-chee. It's a website builder that starts you on a finished site for your trade — copy, photos and structure already in place — and sells it to you once. The name is the brief: respect the customer's time, so they can respect their own customers' time.

The name

Veloċi is the Maltese word for fast — quick, rapid, swift. The dotted ċ is a Maltese letter, pronounced "ch", and it stays in the name on purpose: a small reminder that this is a real word from a real place, not something a branding agency invented.

I chose it because speed is the entire idea. Not speed for its own sake — speed because your evenings are worth something, and a website tool that eats thirty of them hasn't saved you money, whatever its monthly price says.

The philosophy

People who don't value their own time end up frustrated that nobody else values it either. So start by putting a number on it — even a modest one.

At $25 or $50 an hour, making a Wix or Shopify site the best version it could be — the copy, the photos, the pages, the fiddling — is two to three weeks of evenings. That's a bill nobody sends you, and it arrives before your first visitor does.

The bill nobody sends you

Two to three weeks of evenings, priced honestly

Call it three hours a night, five nights a week, for two to three weeks — before the site is live, and while the subscription is already running.

30–45 hoursof evenings to get a DIY builder site to the best version you could make
$750–$2,250of your own time at $25–$50 an hour — before the subscription
Month 1 paid, day 0 livethe most common outcome: subscribed, started, never finished
What this means

In the majority of cases the site never gets finished. You're paying a subscription for a website that doesn't exist yet — and the builder is happy to keep charging while you get round to it. That is exactly why Veloċi exists.

Built for where you actually are

Best on a big screen. Five minutes on a phone.

Laptop

The premium experience is a laptop or desktop

The bigger the screen, the better: you see the whole site exactly as your customers will, and editing is at its most comfortable.

Phone

On the bus, at the shops, waiting for a coffee — five minutes

Pick your trade, add your details, watch it build. The first version is done before your order is ready; polish it on a laptop later if you want to.

Edits

Pay once. Keep editing.

It isn't built once and locked. Come back and change hours, prices, photos or pages whenever you like: Starter includes 12 months of edits; Business and Growth include up to three years. The files are yours either way.

From the founder

Why I built it

I got tired of watching good local businesses either pay every month for a website that never quite fit them — or, more often, pay every month for one they never finished. Veloċi starts you on a site that already understands your trade, then gets out of your way.

If it takes you five minutes and $99, and you own the result, I've done my job. If it also gives you three weeks of evenings back, that was the point of the name.
